Maybe it would just be easier to redfine $HOME in atlocal.in ?

I'd rather not run with --testing-mode except where we really
need it. --testing-mode changes PSPP's behavior from what users
see, so then we're testing something different from what users
use.
-r makes sense. It would be easier to define an environment
variable with PSPP options and then set it from atlocal.in,
rather than to change every test.
