This does seem to suggest that something is wrong somewhere and it might
cause other problems in the future.

Can you try to get that stack trace ?  Then we have a chance of fixing it properly.

Hmm if I use gdb, there is no warning about the image-missing.png. If I run without the debugger it is. No idea how to get a backtrace then.
