Hi ftr,
I don't know PSPPIRE, but, while waiting for an answer, you might
try to save as html. Then, from your browser window you can copy
tables and paste them into a LibreOffice spreadsheet. You can even
open the html file from LibreOffice - it will retain formatting.

Hi,
I want to easily copy a correlation matrix from a factor analysis for
further analysis in a spreadsheet and don't find an easy way to
export the output from PSPP into a spreadsheet. The intention is to
make the matrix more easily readable, to eliminate the lower
triangle, reduce the number of digits, mark the important
correlations with a color background, etc., actions which you can't
do in PSPP.
I did not succeed in this manipulation.
If I copy the output table through Click in PSPP Output Window on
table & Edit > Copy into a word processor (mine is LibreOffice) the
result is unusable. To get a useful result for this table you have to
- insert output table through copy into the spreadsheet,
- replace vertical delimiters by some character that does not appear
in the table, for instance $,
- change text into columns with the special character as a column
delimiter,
- delete superfluous vertical and horizontal line characters.
If I export the output directly into an odt format then the entire
content of the output window is exported, though I want a single
table only. I then need to delete any superfluous output in the text
treatment and then export the tables into the spreadsheet.
Is there any way to copy just the output table into a spreadsheet for
further treatment ?
Thanks in advance
