Have anyone tested the usb2 support (win 7 guest) with iphone4/itunes? It seems
itunes does not recognize that the phone is connected. The situation is very
simular to what happens if you try to run the same setup with virtualbox but
are missing support for usb2. However, in this case i can see the the guest os
is reporting the apple device to be connected to the ehci/usb2 hub in the
device manager.
To make sure there is no host problems i used the same image under virtualbox
and successfully synced with itunes. It is irritating since i'm trying to
migrate from vb to qemu and everything else is working like a charm.
Additional info:
Gentoo host, kernel 3.5.0, qemu-kvm 1.1.1. All other usb devices works without
a hitch. Also double checked device privileges under /dev and the user is in
the qemu/libvirt group.
