My problem is sooner in the build process:


I get the error :

"ERROR: "cc" either does not exist or does not work"

Being new to Ubuntu and QEMU im finding the install process a bit tricky.

In such case, it exists a solution :

Replace this line :

#include <linux/soundcard.h>

by :

#include <linux/soundcard.h.oss3>

in the linux-user/syscall.c file.

And the compilation will go fine. This problem seems to be related to Debian and I am not sure who should fix this one.

I hope it will help you to get QEMU compiled.
