So you need to build in a resize-loop detector. You have to store every
windows last two resize requests, and if they are the same, kill it?

this. If it turns out to be a busted program then tell them to fix
their bugs. Don't tell me to work around them. This is Free Software:
we do it Right.
I am so glad you said this. Forget working around XEmacs then. File a
bug report with them, and lets move on with our lives. No more
workarounds!
