Hang on, I didn't say immutable. You should still be able to turn
them *off*. But the per-head frames should be there by default.
I have a 1280x1024 on top of another (logically speaking) --
occasionally it's useful to have 250x220 emacs buffer :)
I think the best method would be to make it act like there's a
frestore in .rprc, like Shawn suggested, only it's auto-detected.
After init they're just normal frames; possible problems with only(),
tho. Maybe only() should be a special frestore() that frestores the
init frames.
As for non-xinerama multihead, I tried it for a while. It's just like
having two frames that you can't move between. yuk. The only problem
I see with Xinerama is you background pix don't fit :)
