Mmm, well I was bored and wrote my own, which I wasn't really going to release
just
yet, but since people are talking about them its here:

Only suits python hackers at the moment, but allows you to bind keys
to arbitary python commands.
And so you can control ratpoison using it, (without forking ratpoison
each time - (yeah I know I'm the only person who has a problem with
this, but for some irrational reason it annoys me :)), I hacked up:

You can consider these beta. If you have a problem with them, or
find them useful in anyway, please let me know, and I'll go to more
effort to package them up.
(Oh yeah, they rely on python-xlib.)
