Follow-up Comment #2, bug #34295 (project rdiff-backup):

I also have this problem using rdiff-backup for VM.
I usualy do a snapshot of VM, then make a backup (VM is running),
so I'd prefer to have an option to save "temp file" as is, not
testing if source is changed wile backup is running (I'll restore VM from
snapshot).

I would be happy if --force option may do it.
