It's good now, except for one little detail: "criteria" is plural.
This should say "criterion".

I did more rewriting to make it read better and be less informal:

      <p>Note that this criterion is based solely on the good faith of
      the forge operators.  There is no way to verify from outside
      that the service does not log connections.</p>
