Yes, but it wasn't me :)
This was done on a case-insensitive filesystem (HFS), and I guess something got 
messed up.
Perhaps it also explains why "svn diff" did not show any differences ? and why 
it is now showing up in your svn work dir?

That should teach me a lesson...
