I changed the message on the registration page to the following:
User chet is a known mail alias and cannot be used. If you own this alias
(address@hidden) please create a another user (for instance xxchet) and ask
address@hidden to rename it to chet.
When asked to do this, we will first reply to address@hidden and wait
for an answer in order to make sure we are talking to the right person.
