A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Cyril Bouthors <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: cfgstoragemaker
System name: cfgstoragemk
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
DESCRIPTION
The purpose of cfgstoragemaker is to remotely generate a
MRTG config file in order to graph all the storage devices
(disk, memory and swap) of one or more specific host(s)
via SNMP.
As you can imagine, it was heavily inspired by cfgmaker.
ADVANTAGES
One of the most important advantages of cfgstoragemaker is
that you don\'t have to install and run MRTG on the servers
you want to monitor, everything is done remotely on a dis-
tinct and centralized monitoring host. The datas are
acquired by SNMP.
Moreover, you don\'t have to worry about the list of all
the mounted partitions and their size, cfgstoragemaker
will do that for you.
