The Savanah main page has a box on the right-hand side
listing recent packages, accompanied by a date.  This
date format is ambiguous, and should be replaced by the
international date standard ISO8601, which specifies
ccyy-mm-dd (e.g. February 1st, 2002 -> 2002-02-01).
