A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Juan Diego Iannelli <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: lyrics get
System name: lget
Type: non-GNU
Description:
The lget is a free utility for download lyrics from lyric web sites.
It's written in Perl.
It is possible to use and add different perl modules for different web sites.
There is only one module by now that find lyrics if the site has an "artist
index" page. (A - B -C -D -E -, etc)
http://es.geocities.com/jdibach/LICENSE.html (gplv2)
http://es.geocities.com/jdibach/Lgetlib.pl (functions)
http://es.geocities.com/jdibach/artindex.pl (website module)
http://es.geocities.com/jdibach/lget.pl (main program)
Yo can specify the mp3 that you wish to search, and lget tries to find id3tag
information, grab the author and songname, and find it in a lyric website using
an engine. Its also possible to specify author and songname using the command
line, or use a recursive search of mp3 files.
It's in spanish right now, but I am thinking in a translation.
Other Software Required:
Only well known Perl Modules:
LWP::Simple;
URI::WithBase;
File::Path;
File::Find;
Getopt::Long;
MP3::Info;
File::Basename;
