Package: Wonderland VM
System name: wonderland
Type: GNU
Description:
Wonderland VM
This project is designed to provide a rich multilanguage environment by use of
the CLR (Mono will be a intragal part of this OS) It will allow a program to be
executed on either Big Iron (S/390 , Sunfire 15k) Clusters (Beowulf
etc..),internet based cluster (address@hidden like setup) and Workstations
without recompilation. It will be totally cross platform written in C. This
will implement a full POSIX implementation onto a computer by the use of VSTA
source code. This VM will act as a monolithic server on top of the VSTA
microkernel. Mach ports with the hurd translators will also be implemented. We
will use the OsKit to support the drivers. Also guile support inside the kernel
so it will be very easy to configure.
Other Software Required:
mono project (http://www.go-mono.com)
guile (http://www.gnu.org/software/guile/guile.html)
osKit (http://www.cs.utah.edu/flux/oskit/)
Other Comments:
What is your favorite colour?
