Your help offer is greatly appreciated.
How do you plan to add this feature?

Currently we can't give you access to Savannah because we don't know you yet,
but if you show long-term (e.g. 1 month) interest and support this can be
arranged.

For this feature I see 2 different tasks that needs to be implemented:

- technical: split the logs efficiently while keeping the main log as-is (so
we can keep the site-wide stats like
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/awstats.pl)

- contact 3 groups of people involved in the logs
* address@hidden to get the www.gnu.org/www.nongnu.org logs
* http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/00_MIRRORS.html download mirror
owners so they provide us with their stats, in addition to Savannah's (we have
another list with actual contact info)
* https://gna.org/ about how http://stats.gna.org/ is implemented, so we can
get comparison/inspiration for our setup

How about it?
