Yes, mailman sends the 24 hour reminder if there is anything in the pending
queue. And that comes in with a different subject, so you can always filter
the "confirm" messages if you want. Unless you want to see the nonspam
sooner, which I could understand. (Although the notices would drive me crazy.
:)
So, to sum up, yes, you can always delete/ignore the notifications about
spam.
I wish there were a better way, but this was/is the best we could do, given
the constraints.
