Hello everybody,
Hope you had good time during this holiday period,

Bonjour à tous,
J'espère que vous avez passé de bonnes vacances,

Here is some news about the project

1) Technical: a giant leap !
David has worked hard and proposed a patch to fix the bug which prevented to
use resource related commands. Thank you.
Therefore, WDX is now ready to ship at demo-quality level. I tested it
(unformely) over 2 Mandrakes and 1 Debian machines and redundant ethernet. I
discovered that one of my computers was ill and affected by hanging periods.
I had indeed problems with it recently but expected them to be fixed now !
David has a redhat and compiled, installed and executed with no particular
problem.
WDX is downloadable from http://downloads.shaman-x.org under .tar format and
then follow instructions of http://downloads.shaman-x.org/wdx-readme.txt
We will work out a new version of the to-do list as soon as possible,
starting today. Inputs welcome !

2) Documentation: update
I put a new release of the user's guide of WDX on the web site.

3) Announcements: starting
Linux-HA mailing list is now informed
I'm collecting pointers for product availability announcement. If you know
about good places to get informed, please let me know.
I will contact freshmeat and Brave Gnu Linux next week. Feel free to spread
the news directly to your contacts, you have enough messages on the web site
you can reuse.

4) Marketing and business: identify potential partners
I made a list of all French companies involved in back-up planning and high
avaialbility integration services (from CLUSIF). I'm now looking for
pointers to companies which are dedicated to solution integration on free
software. In France, I identified Alcove, Easter-eggs, The-spotfr, and
linagora. If you know about others, thank you to send me a pointer to their
URL.

Thank you for everybody's contribution
ciao
Dominique
