Some minor hackery has been done to make the output a little more meaningful;
hosts that don't respond on the hpk port are pinged to see if they're even
there, and hosts that have multiple names are referred to them by the first
name i discover. calvin.lk... is one of those, and it makes thing a little
easier to read.
i've not yet found a good way to
produce a meaningful mailsync map
test for firewalled-ness
indicate unresolvable hosts (like apmserv.apm...)
indicate hosts with multiple names
none of these should be showstoppers, and i may get inspired here shortly.
anyone interested in the code is welcome to it... just ask.

GDB has a 'break' feature; why doesn't it have 'fix' too?
