Dear folks,

Page https://sks-keyservers.net/status/ lists tons of key servers
"currently not in the pool". This is quite illusory.
Actually most of them are dead since years.
They just listed here because some of us refer them in the membership file.

E.g. gpg.planetcyborg.de was lastly functional in 2014, but it
cannot disappear because keyserver1.computer42.org keeps it "alive"
artifically.
https://sks-keyservers.net/status/ks-status.php?server=keyserver1.computer42.org

May I suggest to all SKS operators to revise list of peers and
take obviously dead ones off from the ventilator?

Alternatively Kristian, can you unlist historic, abandoned servers?
Could you define a criterium of getting into list of "currently"
not functional servers?

Cheers

Gabor Kiss
