Salve a tutti,
come potete capire dall oggetto,possiedo un modem con cip della conexant....
sino a sta sera funzionava a meraviglia......sin quando o provato a installare 
il drive per il kernel 2.4.20 , da me ricompilato,
con il 2.4.20 mi diceva che mancava il supporto per kppp nel kernel (error 4),
ok,nulla di strano....lo posso aver dimenticato in fase di compilazione.
Riavvio con il 2.4.18 ("intonso") , vado a connettermi,
e mi dice : modem occupato

riavvio il sistema...stessa cosa..
allora ri installo il driver
#make clean
#make install
 : spiacente il modem non risponde

mentre compilava i moduli da installare ho notato che ci sono un "paio di"
simboli irrisolti....
altra cosa....i moduli non vengono caricati, perche???
non comprendo perche ora non vada piu!!!!!

qualcuno ha qualche idea ?

copio_incollo tutto quello fatto da shell , è un po lungo , spero non mi 
lapidiate per questo :)
