[Social] git clone ?

Hello,

I am very new to git, i'd just like to checkout gnu-social however it
seems as i'm running into an issue that actually might not be a pebkac on
my behalf:

$ git clone git://gitorious.org/social/social.git
Initialized empty Git repository in /home/manu/git/social/.git/
fatal: no matching remote head


I should add that a couple of days ago it did work.
