I cherry-picked your commit into master, plus a fix to properly
restore layouts with floating GdlDockItems.

I am planning to release 0.4.1 on April 15, which is celebrated as the
Bengali New Year in India [1].

I have sent a mail out to the gnome-i18n list [2] about all this.
