Hi,
I am not very familiar with the gnome internals.
Orca gets started from gdm according to it's desktop file
/usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/orca-screen-reader.desktop
I don't know if these files were executed by gdm itself or by another
binary.

The only problem is howto set custom variables which affects the started
processes like orca.
