Summary: some more fixes to FeedItems and ItemStore

Mostly things that try to fix a broken db. Pretty much futile - recommended
approach to fix the FUBARed db is to start with a clean (or 0.25.1) ~/.straw. 
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Some of this stuff should maybe be removed before the release.
