Hello,
as I haven't found any informations about Peercast and
Streamtuner i'd like to ask if there are any plans to
support Peercast as a kind of plugin maybe?
It would be nice to search inside the peercast-streams
using streamtuner as GUI.
You may find Peercast under peercast.org. Its a kind
of (modified) gnutella-protocol for P2P broadcastings.
It's realesed under GPL.
There is a linux-version; just start it and open
localhost:7144 and you may search for streams using
your webbrowser -> the stream itself will be handled
by e.g. XMMS.
-> IMO it'll be nice to use the "Yellowpages"-info
from Peercast also in Streamtuner.

HTH,
Bela
