I had to restart X due to VLC's fullscreen rendering my entire screen
white, and no key bindings did anything.
That's when I noticed my Japanese input had stopped working again. I
tried restarting, thinking it might be... well I don't know what I
thought, but I did it, to no avail.
Then I retraced my steps when I finally had japanese input again(for
the first time).
It had happened in emacs. Somehow the C-space scim binding gets
through when running emacs(though not the first time? Maybe I hit
another key(or two) accidentally?) .
Unfortunately, this time I've ONLY gotten it working for emacs.s
