I have been using the kubuntu stumpwm package for the past few months
with no problems. Mostly because I was having trouble figuring out how
to get kdm to include stumpwm as a choice. I even created a
stumpwm.desktop file. After upgrading to karmic koala I discovered that
Super_L will no longer work as my prefix key. I checked that Karmic
Koala uses the following version:
Debian Git checkout 1:20090502.git482df740-1 Compiled On Sat Oct 31 10:44:23
From what little I've been able to find, I tried running xmodmap and got
the follwoing output:
xmodmap: up to 4 keys per modifier, (keycodes in parentheses):
shift Shift_L (0x32), Shift_R (0x3e)
lock
control Control_L (0x25), Control_R (0x69)
mod1 Alt_L (0x40), Alt_R (0x6c), Meta_L (0xcd)
mod2 Num_Lock (0x4d)
mod3
mod4 Super_L (0x85), Super_R (0x86), Super_L (0xce), Hyper_L (0xcf)
mod5 ISO_Level3_Shift (0x5c), Mode_switch (0xcb)
And I ran the modifiers command which gave me the output:
Meta: mod-1
Alt:
Super: mod-4
Hyper:
AltGr: mod-5
I would appreciate any help getting Super_L as my prefix key again. It
was nice only needing to hit one key. Thanks.
