Definitely sounds like a worthwhile feature to have.

It's a bit messy because (the tile-group implementation of)
group-wake-up already calls show-frame-indicator, but without the
force parameter. What this means is that the indicator will not be
shown if the group only has a single frame, which makes sense in the
context of switching groups, but not so much when switching screens.
Perhaps a separate indicator is needed for the current screen? A
simple echo might do - it always appears on the current screen and the
user can control its appearance. This would mean however that for
screens/groups with multiple frames you'd see two messages, one for
the current screen and one for the current frame. Not sure how weird
this would be in practice.
