I manage to isolate the buggy code. Whenever I load one of the module from the 
contrib, I got the exception.
The contrib modules are all installed using the guix package manager as well.

Anybody has experience installing StumpWM with guix on foreign distribution?

It is surely a recent update that introduce the problem, because less than a 
week ago it was still working.
