So long as you act as the mentor, I have no problem with someone working on the Savane rewrite.  I don't have time for it now, so if someone wants to throw energy at it, go for it!

And since I would like Octave as a tag, can we also add "matlab"?

Actually, could I be a invited as a co-admin of the GNU project on melange?
