I wasn't aware (not sure which project you are requesting the slot for).

Note I'm completely lost with this years GSoC site as 'login' just returns
me to the main site and I can't see anything useful anywhere on the
GNU project page (when not logged in?).  Also can't see how I can
apply as a mentor anywhere.  Hmm, ok - looks like it uses my google
account but when using an alternate browser (so I'm not already logged in)
then it says "we can't find an account for you..." and "registration
is currently
not open".  Whatever that means in the end...
