I've not listened to this, so i don't know who
was talking to whom about what.

Karl Sims is most famous for some work he
did maybe 10 years ago or so (on the 
now defunctConnection Machine) producing really
compeling graphics of evolved creatures swimmming,
crawling, and sumo wrestling.   

we have had him here at cscs to talk in the past.
he would be a great keynote speaker for
some future swarmfest if you could get him.
