[Swarm-Modelling] question about installation of SWARM

I am a second year Phd student, I am doing simulation and I choose
Swarm(Object C) to start building my agent-based model. However, I could not
install Swarm properly, I installed CYGWIN, but FTP in STF website for
needed software is not available, so Whenever I try to configure swarm and
type make, it doesn't work at all. I gussed there might be some files
missing, but I do not know what is missing.
Could anyone give me some clue (as simple as ABC) to get swarm installed
properly. p.s. I am not familar with Unix commands, just start learning.
seems complicated for me
