Argonne National Laboratory, Santa Fe Institute,
and The University of Chicago will be hosting a joint
business-oriented agent-based modeling and simulation course entitled,
"Capturing Business Complexity with Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation:
Useful, Usable, and Used Techniques." An intensive series of
lectures and hands-on laboratories will be used to introduce the foundational
ideas and tools of ABMS and their application to business questions. Following is course and logistical information: Course Dates: The course dates are
Monday, April 18 , 2005 to Friday, April 22,
2005 . Session I runs from Monday, April 18, 2005, through the
morning of Wednesday, April 20, 2005 . Session II runs from the afternoon
of Wednesday, April 20, 2005, though Friday, April 22, 2005. Course Location: The course will be
held at Argonne National Laboratory outside Chicago, Illinois, USA. The
