Cryptocurrencies" by Maria Apostolaki, Aviv Zohar, Laurent Vanbever

Just learned about it from the Register via Bryan Ford though :

In short, you can do malicious things to bitcoin merchant by
partitioning their network at the ISP level.  And this happens
accidentally all the time because miners are so centralized.
