I like the more consistent design.
What actually strikes me: All persons are healthy, white men. Not a
single women, no people of color, no handicapped people.
Minor points:
- p1: This big-beard-wearing man on the front page is not known outside
our bubble.
- p2: Sentences are long an nested. I suggest rewording to be done a an
editor ("Lektor")
- p3: Why dollar-signs on the bank noted? Most of our project in Europa
based, so the € sign would be more appropriate IMHO. (Instead of
reiterating the Dollar's dominance). Or even leave this sign away, use
heads (mind the women ;-) or buildings as usual on most notes. Same for
the coins on the next pages. At least different symbols should be used.
- p3: Possible add a sentence about how Taler protects money-laundering.
- p4: Text starts with "This …", thus continuing the headline. This is
different to the other pages.
- p5: Similar. Also long and nested sentences.
- p7: "Efficiency is necessary for GNU Taler". Well, yes, but why should
users/banks care about Taler's necessities? Should more be like: Of
Course Taler is efficient, otherwise it would fail on its aim to be
usable/appropriate for micropayment.
- p8: Similar.
- p9: Similar. Beside this it sounds a bit like "lets get away from
supervision of banks" and "let more Start-up implement crappy FinTecs
with lousy security". Should be reworded.
- One point is missing (related to p9): Decentralization. Contrary to
other payment methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, WeePay, (FB Liba) and
even Creditcards (only a few global companies are dominating the
market), local banks and countries can operate Taler.
