I have rewritten the whole test suite infrastructure, such that now it
is ready for everybody. It is now in the test/ subdirectory, and the old
test suite in Tests/ is abandonned (all the relevant pieces have been
put in test/). There could be some issues with latex2html and tex4ht for
tests that use those programs, but otherwise the tests should be
reproducible everywhere now.

I am not familiar at all.

Yep.

The makeinfo output will need some time too, that's why I proposed
January for the merge of texi2html into texinfo. So doing the
reorganization in texi2html while already calling things with 'Texinfo'
seems to me to be the way to go. The merge would then be done as soon
as the makeinfo output is ready.
