[Texmacs-dev] Compiling on macOS & plugins

Hi!

I was trying to compile TeXmacs on macOS Monterey (M1) and failed to do so due to Qt4.

I tried the version at

https://github.com/cartr/homebrew-qt4

but was unable to compile it correctly.

So I have two questions:

1. How do people compile TeXmacs on macOS?

2. Do I need to compile the whole program in order to develop a new plugin?
