Right. It still has it's uses. It is quite good as a launch pad for an
embedded device on a 16-bit processor, since it doesn't get into the way of
the application. There are still people who have a use for some kind of DOS
operating system, otherwise the FreeDOS project would be dead by now.
For those who are looking for a 16bit compiler better have a look at the
FreeDOS project.
