How can I find out what devices do what and what their hex addresses are so that I can correctly use these in the tlf config files? The 2 I am interested in are the 2 FTDI devices on Bus 002, Dev 002 & 003. One goes to the rig and the other goes to the mfj-1279 sound card radio interface. Will the hex addresses ever change for these on subsequent bootups or when I unplug one to get the bus/dev for the one plugged in?
Thanks agn, Jim W3FA
Don't worry about this. One should be tty/USB0 and the other tty/USB1. So its just a matter of which one does what. You do not need to setserial. Don't make this a prime concern, this stuff just works out of the box (plug&play).
