Seems you solved the problem?

But to make it work, I think you have to run qmake on _all_ .pro files, not 
just the top level one.
Not sure if there is a way to force running qmake on all subdir's .pro files.
When using kdevelop, a rebuild of the main application or one of the internal 
libs, qmake is run on all .pro files, which avoids the problem like you have 
here.

And I'm back home, so yes, I'm here :)
