If you happen to use (K,X)Ubuntu, you can add the following repo to your 
sources.list:

deb http://www.doebelin.org/traverso binary-i386/

and install libslv2 and libslv2-dev. These packages should add all the missing 
dependencies. From Ubuntu universe or multiverse you need

libqt4-core libqt4-gui libqt4-dev libsndfile1 libsndfile1-dev libsamplerate0 
libsamplerate0-dev libjack0.100.0-0 libjack0.100.0-dev libasound2 
libasound2-dev jackd qjackctl gcc g++ make

Now you should be able to build the latest cvs version of Traverso.
