Hello, and welcome :-)

This was added after the last release, so not all documentation is up to date.
The fftw3 depencendy is mentioned on the site (
http://traverso-daw.org/Compilation.html ).

This should and will ofcourse be updated in all docs, for the next release.
Thanks for reminding us. :-)

I'll ask Remon to fix this.
Basically the Portaudio driver is not functional at all. It's just the layout,
the actual implementation is pending. The idea behind adding Portaudio
support to traverso is being able to support windows. Since Traverso is based
on Qt4 it should be able to compile, and hopefully run it on traverso.
However is not even remotely functional *yet*.

I don't know what platforum you're compiling traverso for, but there's a
somewhat recent binary build, with dependencies compiled in at
http://traverso-daw.org/dev-binaries/traverso-static-15-03-2007.bin.tar.gz

Until we get those compile errors fixed, could you try that ?

I'm eager to hear of your findings!

Regards,
Ingmar
