[Traverso-devel] back and a rfc

Hi everyone,

I'm back from my vacation, and you missed me all, still wading through the 
huge amount of mails..... 

Anyway, I've a request for comment: Traverso uses Qt, and it doesn't work too 
well with Qt 4.5.x
Current git only works with Qt >= 4.6.0 right now, so the question is, should 
the next stable release only work with Qt >= 4.6.0 or should Qt 4.5.x also be 
supported?
Some people with 'older' distros then have to install Qt 4.6.x or Qt 4.7.x by 
themselves.
Traverso seems to work reasonably well with Qt > 4.6 btw.

Then the great news: Traverso-git compiles and runs fine on Windows, and I've 
updated the 'compile on Windows' page on the Traverso website, which guides 
the user through the download and compilation process. It has become really 
easy imho.

So back to getting git in better shape again, don't expect miracles, but who 
knows, a Xmas present ...
