2007/1/25, Robert de Vries <address@hidden>:
Hi,
My name is Robert de Vries and I work for Dutch Space BV in the Netherlands.
I have been working more than 10 years on EuroSim (
www.eurosim.nl) the
real-time simulator framework and some applications (
e.g. ATV simulator)
Our company is now part of EADS (Astrium) and we have recently begun
work on the Gaia real-time simulator. For that we have received a
request from Astrium Toulouse to integrate TSP into EuroSim. That
explains my interest in TSP.
Glad to see another EADS colleague on TSP. I also work in Astrium Toulouse since 10 years, in the fields of simulation and real-time benches.
I have worked with UNIX systems in various flavours for more than 20
years now. It is obvious that I am a Linux user/developer since the very
beginning (not really 0.1, but pre 1.0).
I have worked with SunOS/Solaris, IRIX, VxWorks, Linux, HPUX, AIX, (any
missing UNIX flavours??)
I have programmed in at least 10 different programming languages.
My current function at Dutch Space is Senior Functional Specialist. My
speciality is EuroSim and real-time simulators.
I represent Dutch Space in ECSS working groups on the standardization of
simulators. (Hi Claude!)
I am not yet an expert on TSP as I have only looked at it for a couple
of days, but I am happy that my contributions are being accepted. This
means that the tsp developers are receptive and that is a good thing.
Let me thank you a lot to have fixed the bug
https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?18802
I noticed it few time ago, and of course didn't take the time to fix it.
Welcome to TSP world wide team (oops, may be it's too emphatic for a small team of 17 people)
I do not know yet if I can come to the workshop in Toulouse. Maybe I can
combine it with another visit.
I hope we'll meet one day, ever at this workshop or in another meeting.
Best regards.
