After creating packages for the avr-toolchain, I also made
a uisp-20040311 package for fink on mac os x, which made it into the "unstable"
tree.
http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/package.php/uisp
so if you"re working on mac, feel free to install uisp by entering
fink install uisp
