I'm not saying that we should abandon the project if we find that the name
"IRC3" doesn't fit. I have a list of other acronyms we could use, see below.

Cancelling the project just because the original name won't work would make
all the effort we put into designing so far pretty useless.


If we find "IRC3" is bad, why not choose one of these:
* SRC - Scalable Realtime Conferencing (this allows for puns with the source
        directory ;))
* RIC - Realtime Internet Conferencing (not IRC since that would be too close)
* RCS, RCP, SCP might work but are too close to existing standards :)
* IRC4 ;)
* INSTAGIB - InterNet Service Targetting All German Idle Bncs
* RLAN - Real Life Alternative Network
