I went to that page, but I am not used to these things so what I should do
is not immediately apparent to me.  Hence it seems better if you file it
yourself.

I am confused about this request.  I said

To complement that, here is the actual command:

root@frac:~# dnf install emacs-vm

If this is still not enough information, could you please explain to me
what you mean by "checkout of VM from gitlab or an older version"?
